Garage Conversions in Truro

Garage conversions for Truro homeowners

Truro is Cornwall's only city and Wren Builders' home patch — our workshop and office are based just outside the city at Penstraze. As the county's administrative and shopping centre, Truro has a real mix of Victorian terraces, 1930s semis and newer estates, which means garage sizes and construction methods vary a lot from street to street. We know the older Truro housing stock particularly well, including how garages on Victorian and Edwardian properties were typically built.

Whatever the age and construction of your garage, the same principles apply: proper insulation and damp-proofing first, then building the room out to meet current Building Regulations and suit how you'll actually use the space.
